1981-2024

Michael “Mike” Peter Flowers, born Feb. 6, 1981, in Hawaii, was unexpectedly taken from us on June 25, 2024.

Just 43 years old, he was a lifelong resident of Meadow Lake. Michael was an electrician by trade but had a talent for many things. He enjoyed fishing, gaming on his PS4 and spending some time at his favorite casino.

He also took an interest in collecting unique and rare coins and rocks but, besides all that, anybody who knew Mike knows his greatest joy in life was being a daddy. You will be greatly missed, my love. Till we see each other again.

Michael is survived by his longtime girlfriend, Amanda Tafoya; their two girls, Viti-miriama Flowers and Tearza Rain Zamora; his big brother, James “Jimmy” Flowers; cousin, Ricky Taylor; a very special nephew, Jared Icenogle, whom he held dear to his heart; and nephew Kelly Flowers.

His family takes comfort in knowing he was welcomed with lots of love from family who he deeply missed.

He is preceded in death by his father and mother, Willard and Miriama Flowers; brother, Owen Flowers; and sister, Viti Flowers.

A celebration of life will be held from 1-3 p.m., Saturday, July 13, at 3476 Main St NE, Los Lunas. Everyone is welcome.
