Thanks for the coverage

Editor:

I would like to express my sincere appreciation to the Valencia County News-Bulletin for its fair and detailed coverage of the recent planning and zoning hearing concerning the proposed rezoning of recreation land within the Jubilee Los Lunas community.

Your article captured not only the facts, but the spirit of civic responsibility shown by the residents who stood together for fairness and transparency. It also reflected the professionalism of the village staff and Planning & Zoning Commission, who followed the law and upheld the standards that protect our community.

As a homeowner who recently purchased another home in Jubilee, I am determined to help keep this community a place I can continue to call home and be proud of.

Your accurate and balanced reporting helped make that possible by ensuring residents and public officials alike could rely on truth, not rumor.

Christianity has come above the ground now

Editor:

The assassination of Charlie Kirk has lit a fuse. The world has noticed and now we wait to see what is going to happen next. A sleeping giant has been awoken.

I remember when the government warned religious organizations that getting involved with politics would lose their 501(c) status. It worked for a long time. It’s hard enough to live life with all the problems of growing a family and keeping a roof over their heads let alone trying to get people to get involved in protecting their culture and values.

While the evil global leaders were busy organizing and setting up funding to implement their chaos all across the United States ordinary Americans were busy keeping their lives going.

Well, I don’t need to outline all of this chaos, it has occurred in the big cities across the country.

Standing up to evil today some how seems like a necessary component of life. How does one stand up to this evil? Prayer has always been a go to that really works.

What this screams is spiritual warfare! For many of us this means Satan versus God. Charlie’s assassination is living proof that something horrible can possibly become a world wide awaking to fight this evil right where it will do the most benefit — with our young people.

Colleges, more frankly, professors are dominantly progressive. So, students are disposed to that kind of dribble from the left. Hopefully, the degrees earned by students graduating will allow the to gainful employment to jump start their careers.

The ideal situation for these young people will be a job, a home, marriage and a family. Most of this will require a sound economy and a meritorious business climate. There is no room for corruption; however, I know there will always be corruption.

What needs to happen is a full prosecution of these bad actors. I mean prison. There must be enough punishment that people in a position of authority will be discouraged from corruption.

The strongest leadership must rise up in order to put our country back on the right track — a country with a Judeo-Christian foundation. It is not wrong to stand for your values. I will not accept evil as good.

I want a strong country, a strong economy, a society based on Christian values with leaders that actually fear God.
