All-State soccer honors for LLHS freshman Bertrand; Lopez named District Coach of the Year

Freshman Ellisyn Bertrand of Los Lunas received All-State honors in soccer from the New Mexico High School Coaches Association.

Bertrand, who led the Tigers with 21 goals and 14 assists, was named a second-team midfielder.

All-District selections were led by the LLHS girls and Valencia boys while Belen’s Edgar Lopez was named district Coach of the Year.
