Bragging rights are on the line when the Valencia County football rivalry between Valencia and Belen is renewed 7 p.m., Friday, at BHS.
A traveling trophy, which is currently in Belen, is known as the Plow or Heritage trophy, will be presented to the game winner.
It will be the first meeting between the schools since 2020. Belen leads 8-1 in the series that started in 2012. The first Valencia graduating class was in 2010.
