The Eagles defeated St. Michaels (19-0), McCurdy (17-2), and Moriarty (16-2) in the title game. Belen (9-8, 1-0) defeated St. Pius, 10-3, Tuesday to start district play. Also Tuesday, Los Lunas (7-6) downed West Mesa 11-1, while Valencia (2-8, 1-0) handled Grants 10-3.
