County’s hoop stars to play in East-West game

Five high school seniors from Valencia County will participate in the annual Bernalillo County East-West All-Star Basketball Games at the Pit on Saturday.

Belen guard Katherine Archuleta and Los Lunas post Tina Hall and point guard Valerie Martinez will play for the West squad. The girls game begins at 5 p.m.

At 7 p.m., the boys will take the floor. Among them will be Belen all-purpose player David Hull and Los Lunas post Adrian Daniel, also representing the West.

KRQE TV-13 will telecast the boys game on a delayed basis at 11:05 p.m. on Saturday.
