LLHS Tigers, VHS Jags & BHS Eagles net state volleyball honors

Los Lunas right-side hitter Kori Robinson, who led the Tigers in assists, was named to the 5A All-State volleyball first-team to lead local selections.

The Tigers also placed Madison Pruitt, outside hitter, and rightside hitter Lynae Hands on the second-team.

In 4A, sisters Jaiden and Eden Montgomery, of Valencia, were each selected to the second-team. Jaiden is a hitter, while Eden is a middle blocker.

In addition, All-District honors are out. Los Lunas had five selections, Valencia four and Belen two. The All-Metro teams also placed members from VHS, LLHS and BHS.
