Murzyn was a three-time winner in the First Gross, Ladies 18 division, while Lindberg and Anna Martinez each won once in the Ladies 9 division. Winning First Net for the Ladies 18 were Edie Redfearn-Moore, Tammie Fuller, Martinez and Valdez. First Net winners for the Ladies 9 division were Fran Griffeth with two wins and Turley with one.

There were numerous chip-ins scored throughout the month. Murzyn and Griffeth each had two, with Bayless, Redfearn-Moore, and Valdez with one each. Murzyn also added three birdies to her season total.

The Ladies Nine Ace winner was Turley, and Griffeth was the Ladies 18 winner.

WGA members volunteered throughout the month assisting with the Tierra Del Sol Youth Golf Camp, especially on July 23 when the final games and competitions for the participants took place.

In addition to the regular Wednesday and Saturday play days in August, the popular Grandma’s Tournament was played on Aug. 13. Ace Day competitions will be played on Aug. 20 and 23.
