Bacas celebrate 50 years of marriage
Wilfred and Donna Baca, of Jarales, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Oct. 22. The couple was married in 1971 by Magistrate Gil Sanchez.
They were introduced in Jarales by mutual friends, and still reside there.
Wilfred retired from the Gas Company of New Mexico. He was a 1965 graduate of Belen High School. He enjoys gardening and farming.
Donna retired from the Belen Post Office. She is also a 1965 graduate of BHS, and completed two years at the University of Nebraska at Lincoln, NE. She enjoys quilting.
They are members of Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church and Valley Lutheran Church.
The Bacas have two sons and one daughter, including Chris Baca and his wife, Vanessa, of Texas, Edward Baca and his wife, Minh, of Texas, and Nicole Lucero and her husband, Chris, of Bosque Farms. They have seven grandchildren.
The couple will celebrate their golden wedding anniversary with family and friends.
