Chavez, Saavedra set July ceremony

Announcement is made of the engagement of Vanessa Chavez and Juan Diego Saavedra.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Josette Ortega of Los Chavez.

She’s a stay-at-home mother who plans to attend Pima Medical Institute.

Her fiance is the son of Linda Lopez of Los Chavez. He is employed with Prestige Electric and plans to get his journeyman’s license next month.

A July 27 outdoor wedding is planned.

The couple has a daughter together, Aaliyah Rose, 1.
