Chavez, Whitaker set July ceremony

The engagement and upcoming wedding of Felisha Ashley Chavez and Chris Adam Whitaker has been announced.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Chris and Anna Chavez of Belen. She is a 1999 graduate of Belen High School.

She works at the Wal-Mart corporate office in Arkansas. Prior to beginning her career, she participated in the Youth With A Mission, going to Ukraine and Turkey.

Her fiance is the son of Howard and Laura Whitaker of Bentonville, Ark. He is a graduate of Bentonville High School.

He is employed by National Tractor. He, too, participated in Youth With A Mission, in Turkey.

A July 27 wedding is planned at the Grace Fellowship Church in Los Lunas.
