Chavezes celebrate 50th wedding anniversary

Leroy and Erlinda Chavez, of Los Lunas, are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary.

The couple, who are both retired, were married on June 9, 1972, in Los Lunas.

Leroy enjoys the outdoors, while Erlinda enjoys decorating.

Their children are Leroy Chavez Jr. and Melody and Daniel Saiz, all of Los Lunas. They have four grandchildren, Brandon Glass, Baylee Glass, Kylee Chavez and Connie Saiz.

The Chavezes will be celebrating their golden wedding anniversary with a reception at their home with friends and family.
