Garcias celebrating 50th wedding anniversary

Joe and Lorraine Garcia, of Los Lunas, are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary on Thursday, May 12.

The couple was married on May 12, 1972, at San Clemente Catholic Church in Los Lunas.

Both are retired — Joe from Nabisco and Lorraine from Arby’s — and are enjoying life.

They have two children, Leon Garcia and Joanna Valencia.

They have six grandchildren, Jacob and Tasha Valencia, Lucas and Elena Valencia, and Amina and Isaiah Garcia.

The Garcia family is planning a trip to Pagosa Springs, Colo., to celebrate their anniversary.
