Jensens celebrate golden wedding anniversary

Don and Joan Jensen, of Los Lunas, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Friday, Aug. 5.

The Jensens were married Aug. 5, 1972, in Clarksville, Iowa.

Don is retired from farming and as a heavy equipment operator, and Joan is a retired insurance administrator. They have four children, Don and his wife, Diana Jensen, of Fuquay-Varina, N.C., David and wife, Christa Jensen, of Johnston, Iowa, Carla Myers of Knoxville, Iowa, and Jerry and wife, Lisa Zlomke of Salem, Wisc.

They also have nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

The Jensens will be celebrating their anniversary with their children at home.
