Knightons celebrate 50 years of marriage
Terry and Lydia Knighton, of Grants, celebrated their golden wedding anniversary on March 24. The couple was married at the First Baptist Church of Belen in 1974.
Terry, is a graduate of Clovis High School, is a retired teacher from Grants High School where he taught industrial arts for 28 years. He enjoys fishing and camping.
Lydia is a housewife, and retired as a dental assistant. She is a Los Lunas High School graduate, and enjoys crocheting, crafts and fishing with her hubby.
The couple, who are members of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Grants, enjoys riding their Harley.
They have two sons, Dale and Elliot, of Grants, and five grandchildren.
The family celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a quiet dinner.
