Lechugas celebrate 60 years of marriage

Sam and Lutie Lechuga, of Belen, are celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary on Thursday, Feb. 10. The couple was married in 1962 in Mountainair.

Sam retired from the railroad, and enjoys going to the casino, camping and he used to play in a band. Lutie is a housewife, and also enjoys going to the casino and camping.

The couple are members of Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church.

They have three children, Henry Lechuga and his wife, Sandra, of Belen, Angela Zamora and her husband, Greg, of Tomé, and Jacob Lechuga and his wife, Melissa, of Rio Communities. They also have five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

They will celebrate their anniversary with family.
