Montoyas celebrate 30 years of marriage
Thomas and Anita Montoya, of Jarales, are celebrating their 30 year wedding anniversary. The couple was married April 8, 1995, in Bernalillo, N.M.
Thomas is retired from the Army National Guard, having served 26 years. He is a graduate of Del Norte high School, and is a member of the Valencia County Sheriff’s Posse. He enjoys riding horses.
Anita has been employed by the Albuquerque Publishing Company for more than 37 years. She is a graduate of Bernalillo High School, and is also a member of the Valencia County Sheriff’s Posse. She enjoys going to the casino.
The Montoyas are members of Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church.
They have three children, Yvonne and her husband, James, Maria Montoya and Thomas Montoya Jr. They have one grandchild, Ava Sanchez.
The couple will be celebrating their anniversary with their friends and family when they renew their vows on April 5.
