Oteros honored on 25th anniversary

Virgil and Dina Otero of Los Lunas will celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary on Aug. 27.

They met and married at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Albuquer-que’s North Valley, where they both grew up.

Virgil is employed as an electrical engineer at Kirtland Air Force Base and Dina is an administrative assistant to Dr. Steven Holbrook.

They have three children: Consuelo, 23; Luis, 20; and Mario, 18.

The couple renewed their marriage vows on Aug. 10, with Deacon Pilar Garcia, who married the couple 25 years ago, officiating.

They celebrated at a family party given by their children at Sadie’s Mexican Restaurant.
