Pulliza, Arana are engaged
Los Lunas
Danny and Chris Arana of Los Lunas have announced the engagement of their son, “Little Danny,” to Gabriela Castejon Pulliza of Caguan, Puerto Rico.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Sandra Pulliza and stepdaughter of Rafi Marti. She will graduate from the University of Puerto Rico in June and will finish her master’s degree at the University of New Mexico.
Her fiance, originallly of San Diego, Calif., is a 1997 graduate of La Cueva High School.
The couple met on a Caribbean cruise last summer and can thank his mom, who won the trip from their mutual employer, Galles Chevrolet in Albuquerque.
The couple are still commuting between Puerto Rico and Los Lunas and haven’t set a wedding date yet. Both families are figuring out the logistics of a wedding involving people in two such far-flung places.
