Tafoyas mark 50 years of marriage
Lawrence and Mary Tafoya, of Los Lunas, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on July 19. They were married at San Clemente Catholic Church in 1969.
Mary is a bartender for the Albuquerque Isotopes, and Lawrence is retired from the Veterans Administration Hospital.
Their children are Jacob Tafoya, of Albuquerque, Jennifer Zisman, of Rio Rancho, Patricia Perez, of Tuscon, Ariz., and Lawrence Tafoya, of El Paso. They have 10 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
The couple celebrated their anniversary with a trip to Las Vegas, Nev.
