Vigils to celebrate 60th wedding anniversary

Richard and Dolores (Hidalgo) Vigil, of Belen, will be celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary on Sept. 1.

They were married in 1962 at Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church.

The couple’s children are Roxanne (Joe) Carrasco, Eugenia Peña (Vigil) and the late Eric Vigil. They have nine grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

The Vigils will be celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary with family and friends at a private party.
