Wedding bells ring for Parker, Kerr

The engagement and upcoming wedding of Dayle Renee Parker and Clay Kerr has been announced.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. George R. Parker of Los Lunas. A 2000 graduate of Los Lunas High School, she is a junior at New Mexico Tech and plans to graduate in 2004 with a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering. She is a member of Tau Beta Pi Engineering Honor Society and is a student intern at Sandia National Laboratories.

Her fiance is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Bill Kerr of Belen and Tonja Kerr of Los Lunas. A 1998 Los Lunas High School graduate, he earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from New Mexico Tech this spring. He is employed as a mechanical engineer by PNM.

An Aug. 10 wedding is planned at the Shrine Center in Albuquerque.
