Wedding bells ring for Vessey, Byrne

Jennifer Vessey and Brian Byrne have announced their engagement and upcoming wedding.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Thomas and Rita Vessey of Bosque Farms.

She graduated from Los Lunas High School in 1998 and is majoring in bilingual elementary education with a minor in history at New Mexico State University, where she’s in the Class of 2003.

Her fiance is the son of Richard and Gerri Byrne of Rowe, N.M. A 1995 graduate of Los Lunas High School, he graduated from Penn State University in 2000 with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and a minor in business law. He is employed at SCCI Hospital in El Paso, Texas.

A July 20 wedding is planned at Immaculate Conception Church in Albuquerque.

The couple said they have dated for eight years and have been engaged for a year and a half.
