Sorority of women educators looking for teacher candidates for college scholarship

Alpha Xi Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma, an international society of women educators, is sponsoring a $500 scholarship for a female student preparing to become a teacher.

The group is looking for a student in a college of education at a New Mexico university who is hoping to graduate in May, 2003. She should have a good grade point average and a strong desire to teach, along with financial need.
