NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN to the public and all parties of interest that the Belen Planning and Zoning Commission will continue with DISCISSION AND POSSIBLE ACTION Public Meeting to consider a REQUEST FOR ANNEXATION OF LAND INTO THE CITY OF BELEN AND TO AMEND THE ZONE MAP FROM Valencia County Residential/Agricultural to City of Belen R-1 Single-Family Residential and C-1 General Commercial; I-25 Bypass and Edmundo Road, Valencia County, NM, Jonathan Trujillo-Applicant.
LEGAL DESCRIPTION:
Tract 29B (5.84 Acres),
Tract 29A (5.84 Acres); S:31
T:6N R:2E, The Edmundo L Padilla and Vivian Padilla Revocable Trust.
Be advised that the Public Hearing for this Request was held by the Planning and Zoning Commission on March 14, 2022 at 6:00 PM at the City of Belen Council Chambers and following receipt of Public Input, Questions and Comments the Public Hearing was closed by the Commission Chairman and no further public comments and inputs will be allowed. Following the Public Hearing, the Request was opened by the Planning and Zoning for Discussion and Possible Action by the Planning and Zoning Commission but was Tabled to allow further discussion and consideration by all members of the Commission before a motion for action is made.
You are further notified that this Discussion and Possible Action Public Meeting is scheduled to be held on Monday, May 9, 2022, 6:00 PM, in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 100 South Main Street, Belen, NM 87002. Once again, no further public comments or questions will be entertained from the Public during this meeting.
The Belen Planning and Zoning Commission will consider moving the case forward to the City Council with a recommendation for approval or disapproval.
