DAR gives flag award to Baldwin
Bosque Farms Mayor Roger Baldwin recently received an award from the Lew Wallace chapter of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
Baldwin was cited for the proper use, correct display and patriotic presentation of the flag by the Flag of the United States of America Committee.
Baldwin was recognized for his display of American, state and P.O.W. flags at his business, Value Rite, in Bosque Farms.
A press release from Baldwin’s office says that he re-installed the flags in the council chambers and reinstated the reciting of the pledge of allegiance before council meetings.
