February blood drives in Valencia County

During February, Vitalant, formerly United Blood Services, is holding several blood drives here in Valencia County, eliminating the need to drive to Albuquerque to donate.

•10 a.m.-4 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 12, Isleta Resort and Casino, Ballroom C, 11000 Broadway SE, Albuquerque; donors receive t-shirts

•9 a.m.-12:30 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 13, University of New Mexico-Valencia Campus, Learning Resource Center, 280 La Entrada Road, Los Lunas

•2-5 p.m., Friday, Feb. 15, Belen City Hall parking lot, 100 S. Main St., Belen

•12:30-2:45 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 16, Smith’s Grocery, 2580 Main St. NE, Los Lunas

•1-4:45 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 16, Starlight Cinema, 2226 Sun Ranch Village Road, Los Lunas; donors receive a movie ticket
