First Responders Recognition day

The city of Belen celebrated National First Responders Day on Monday. During the ceremony, Art Garcia, center, the USDA Rural Development state director, announced the Belen Police Department received $602, 100 for 12 new police vehicles. The USDA also provided funding several years ago for a new fire truck.
