“I am truly honored to be named an honorary commander at Kirtland Air Force Base. This recognition is a testament to the strong relationship between our communities and the shared values of service, dedication and leadership,” Noblin said. “I look forward to strengthening our partnership and supporting the incredible men and women at Kirtland who work tirelessly to protect our nation. Together, we can build a brighter future for both Belen and our country.”

Others who were named as “honorary commanders” were Rio Rancho Mayor Greggory Hull, Albuquerque Mayor Tim Keller and Estancia Schools Superintendent Dr. Cindy Sims.

The honorary commanders program aims to increase public awareness and understanding of Kirtland Air Force Base missions, to maintain a positive reputation as a good neighbor and choose leaders from various sectors of the New Mexico community including industry, business, government and the educational system.
