1948-2023

Albert A. Tapia, age 74, a resident of Belen, passed away on Jan. 24, 2023.

Services were held Tuesday, Jan. 31, at Romero Funeral Home Chapel.

He was a wonderful son, brother, husband, father and grandfather. Albert was generous to a fault and completely devoted to his family.

Born and raised in his beloved New Mexico, he contributed to numerous charitable animal and preservation organizations in his time.

Albert is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Phyllis; son, Andres; daughter, Riley (Chris); and three grandchildren, Declan, Harper James and Cameron.

Words cannot describe how truly wonderful he was and how many lives he touched. The family requests donations be made to the March of Dimes or ASPCA.
