Anthony Griego

1971-2022

Anthony Griego, age 51, a lifelong resident of Peralta, passed away on Sunday, July 10, 2022.

He was born on March 27, 1971, to Julian and Frances Griego. Anthony is the youngest of six children. Anthony loved camping, music, working on cars and motorcycles. He was learning to play guitar, not very good at it but enjoyed learning.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Frances and Julian Griego; grandparents, Victoria and Ofelio Tapia; and numerous aunts and uncles.

He is survived by his son, Pablo Griego; grandsons, Julian, Noah and Zain Griego; sisters, Roberta Romero (significant other, Frank Putnam) and Anita Griego; brothers, Alan, Kenny (wife, Jeannette) and Mark Griego; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Services will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Peralta on Wednesday, July 27. Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Valencia Catholic Cemetery. Due to COVID restrictions there will be no reception.
