1939-2022
Antonia “Toni” McDonald, age 83, was called to be with the Lord on Thursday, Dec. 22, 2022.
Toni was born on Aug. 23, 1939. She graduated from Belen High School, class of 1959, and was named Female Athlete of the Year. Toni spent her best years playing basketball, enjoying bingo with her friends, gambling at the casino and spending time with her beloved grandchildren and family.
Toni is remembered for her witty sense of humor and her warm kind spirit.
Toni is preceded in death by her son, Richard McDonald; parents, Espiridion and Casimira Gallegos; sisters, Catherine Gallegos-Ortega and Ruth Cordova; and brother, Bobby Gallegos.
She is survived by her son, Patrick McDonald and his wife, Melissa; sister, Irene Wynia; brother, Fred Gallegos; and her two grandchildren, Eliana and Nikolas McDonald.
Per Toni’s wishes no services will be held.
