1941-2023
Arturo “Art” Marquez, age 81, a resident of Albuquerque, went to the Lord peacefully on June 9, 2023.
Services will be held Friday, June 30, at St. Joseph on the Rio Grande Catholic Church, beginning with a visitation at 11 a.m., followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:30 a.m. Interment will follow immediately at Our Lady of Belen Memorial Gardens at 1:30 p.m.
He is survived by his loving wife, Cathy Aragon-Marquez; children, Damian Aragon (Crystal) Micaela Welch, Olivia Lopez (Henry), Annette Romero (Kiko) and Camille Nesbitt (Mike); and 14 grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Jose Maria and Maria Alvidrez Marquez; beloved wife, Mary Marquez; brother, Jorge Marquez; and infant grandson, Daniel Lopez.
