1926-2023
Barbara “Bobbi” West, 97, passed away Dec. 18, 2023, at her home in Bosque Farms.
Bobbi was born in Seattle, Wash., in 1926. As a young woman during the war, she worked at the Seattle Boeing plant as a riveter building B-17 bombers.
After she moved to New Mexico in 1946, she learned to fly, rode motorcycles and raced cars. She was an accomplished silversmith, and ran several businesses. Her adventurous spirit led her on many travels throughout her life.
She is survived by her children, Rubye Kelly and husband, Elvis, Randy West, and Val Reser and husband, Ron; and many beloved grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
