Barbara M. Lopez, an 84-year-old resident of Rio Communities, passed away on Dec. 17, 2022.

She was born Sept. 14, 1938, in Corrales, N.M., and was a member of Christian Family Church of God in Belen.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Max; son, Philip; brothers, Robert, Alex, Ralph, Rudy, Henry and now David.

Barbara is survived by son, Larry Lopez; sisters, Margie Mirabal (Tany), Nora Wells (Phil), and Lilly Chavez; brother, Julian, grandchildren and numerous nephews and nieces.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, Jan. 7, at Christian family Church of God, 318 S. Sixth St., in Belen, with a reception following.
