It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that we announce Bernadette Y. Lechuga-Bibiano’s unexpected passing.

Berna was born June 9, 1980, to Angela Lechuga (Zamora) and her biological father, Danny Sanchez.

Berna was a lifelong resident of Belen. She lived life to the fullest. She was full of love, laughter and resilience. She touched the lives of all who knew her. Berna loved her family with all her heart and would give anything for her kids. Berna loved to journal, and color with her gel pens.

Bernadette is preceded in death by her nana/mom, Lutie Lechuga; biological father, Danny Sanchez; in-laws, Richard Sr. and Alice Bibiano; sister-in-law, Sandra Bibiano; cousin, Samantha Lechuga; and great-grandparents, Refugio and Bennina Lechuga.

Bernadette is survived by her husband Richard Jr.; children, Destinee (Gianna), Ethan, Yeshua and Heavenly Bibiano; stepchildren Joseph (Elexus), Ricky and Dominique Bibiano; her tata/dad, Sammie Lechuga; mom, Angela; and dad, Greg Zamora; brothers, Henry (Sandra) and Jacob (Melissa) Lechuga; grandma Mary Moya; 11 grandkids, several nieces/nephews, uncles/aunties, cousins and friends.

Berna, your life was a blessing, your memory is a treasure. You are loved beyond words, and missed beyond measure.

Pallbearers are Ethan and Yeshua Bibiano.
