Cathy “Cat” Chavez, age 61, a resident of Belen, passed away on Nov. 2, 2022.
A public visitation will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, Nov. 10, at the Romero Funeral Home Chapel, followed by a Rosary at 11:30 a.m. A funeral service will be celebrated at 12 p.m.
Cathy is preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Lupe Chavez; and niece, Yvette Baca.
She is survived by her devoted life partner, Richard Saavedra; loving children, Crystal Chavez, Dominic Tuttle, Mackie Saavedra, and Savannah and Jessie Graham; beloved grandchildren, Kevin and Marissa, Carlito and Cielo, Mia, Josiah, Melodie, Tylor, Evert, Alisha, Aaron, Callyn and Colter; cherished great-grandkids, Dharma, Azaria, Litto and two on the way; her siblings, Gina and Keith Donoghue, Betty Chavez and Tommy Chavez; and many relatives and friends.
