Charles Aling Martin peacefully passed away on Oct. 14, 2024.
He was born on April 29, 1935, in Hennepin County, Minn., to Llewelyn and Georgia Martin.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Leighton; son, George; and grandchildren, Jacob, Amanda and Keith.
He is survived by wife of almost 50 years, Isabel; and his children, Cheryl (Cole) Eden, Lew (Janice) Martin, Teresa and Lynn (Olan) Blaylock; and his sisters, Gail and Janet. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren.
Chuck, as he was known, was raised in Minnesota and California, moving to New Mexico in 1973. He was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses on Oct. 14, 1967, and continued to be an active member of the West Los Lunas congregation until the time of his death.
As per Chuck’s wishes, no funeral or memorial service will be held.
