Charlotte U. Torres, age 95, a resident of Belen, passed away on March 13, 2024.

Services will take place at Romero Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, April 4, beginning with a visitation at 6:00 p.m., and a Rosary at 7 p.m. A final visitation will take place on Friday, April 5, at Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church with a Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Belen Memorial Gardens.

She was survived by sons, Nolbert, Matthew (Terri) and Gerard Torres (Deluvina); daughters, Therese Salazar (Raymond), Bernadette Baca (Micheal) and Trina Vigil (Dion); her 26 grandchildren, 47 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren; brother, Richard Ulibarri; sisters, Eva Carrillo and Precilla Otero; and many nieces and nephews.

Charlotte is preceded in death by her loving husband, Alfonso Torres; son, Stacy Torres; parents, Eustaquio and Trinidad Cordova Ulibarri; brothers, Abelicio and Preme Ulibarri; and sister, Margaret Sanchez.

She was a member of Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church, Legion of Mary and Divine Mercy and Charismatic Prayer Group.

Pallbearers will be Nick Gutierrez, Alfonso Salazar, Wesley Denton, Isaac Torres, Steven Bartholomew and Stacy Vigil.
