Doris Abeyta, age 90, a resident of Abeytas, passed away at home on July 28, 2024, following a short illness.
A private family service was held per Doris’ wishes.
She is survived by her son, Randy Abeyta (Brenda), of Gilbert, Ariz.; daughter, Sharon Abeyta Levey (Lee), of Scottsdale, Ariz.; grandchildren, Bree Linder (Eric), Coree Parra (AJ Stein), Walker Abeyta and Hawk Abeyta; great-grandchildren, Matix and Cambria Lindner, and Jameson and Sloane Stein; brother, Leo Mendoza; and sisters, Margaret Chavez and Ida Ulibarri.
Doris is preceded in death by her husband, Salomon Abeyta, in 2010.
She was born Jan. 29, 1934, to Alex and Neph Storey Mendoza. Doris was a property owner, and lifelong resident of New Mexico.
