Felix’s true passion was working the fields, raising cattle, llamas, sheep, playing on his tractors and tilling the soil for the awaited alfalfa season.
He was born and raised in Las Nutrias, and was a member of both Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church and the San Isidro Catholic Church in Las Nutrias. He was a graduate of La Joya High School.
Felix enjoyed spending time with his family, watching classic western movies, dancing and having an occasional shot of tequila. May the peace of the Lord be with Felix, his family and his friends as we reflect, remember and celebrate the wonderful life and legacy of this humble man, Felix Baca.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to be made to the New Mexico Boys and Girls Ranch, theranches.org, in honor of Felix Baca.
