Florinda Gallegos

1928-2022

Florinda Gallegos, age 93, a resident of Los Lunas, and formerly of Belen, passed away on Thursday, May 19, 2022.

She was a member of Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church and a proud member of the Catholic Daughters of America.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Tom; parents, Epitacio and Victoriana Baca; and sisters, Nora Ulivarri and Antonia Aragon.

Florinda is survived by her children, Regina Sanchez, Tommy (Jodi) Gallegos, Herman (Amy) Gallegos and Carl Gallegos; grandchildren, who loved her dearly, Michael and Sharon Sanchez, Melanie and Jay Chadwick, Kara and JD Latter, Kevin and Natalie Sanchez, Colleen, and Danelle and Grace Gallegos; great-grandchildren, Annaleigh and Xander Sanchez, Tristen and Christian Aque, Holly, Brooklyn, Heidi, Ethan and Asia Chadwick, Avery and Harley Latter, Jet Sandoval and Dax Gallegos; and two great-great-grandchildren, Ember and Josie Aque.

All services were held on Tuesday, May 24, at Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church. Interment followed at Our Lady of Belen Memorial Gardens.
