Gabriel Salvador Serna, age 80, a resident of Belen, went to be with God on Nov. 15, 2022.

He was born in 1942 to Feliciano and Virginia Serna.

Gabriel is preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Roberta; siblings, Gabriel Sr., Jessie, Sonny, Henry and Eloy.

He is survived by his loving wife, Marylee Serna; sons, Bryan (Arlene) and Nolan Serna, Charles (Tennille) Barra and Joel Barra; grandchildren, Ryan, Zaylei, Mickayla and Noah Serna, and Brittany and Michael Barra; great-grandchildren, Eamr and Ocean Serna, Mariana and Andrew De La Rosa and Charlie Barra; and sister, Mary Ramirez.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, Jan. 21, at Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church, beginning with a viewing from 9-10 a.m., a Rosary to be recited from 10-10:30 a.m. and a Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m.
