Jacob Stevie Barela, age 42, a resident of Valencia County, passed away on Saturday, Sept. 14, 2024.
Services will take place at Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church on Tuesday, Oct. 1, beginning with a visitation at 9 a.m., followed by a Rosary at 9:30 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Belen Memorial Gardens.
He is survived by his parents, Danny and Judy Padilla Barela; siblings, Jessica and Daniel Barela; and many nieces, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins and friends.
Jacob is preceded in death by his sister, Melanie Barela.
The pallbearer will be Daniel Barela.
