James “Jimmy” Culp
James “Jimmy” Culp
1943-2024
Jimmy was an avid sportsman, fisherman, hunter, hunting guide and race car driver. He excelled in multiple trades — marquee welder, custom farmer, fire truck manufacture — and as a horseman and rancher.
Jimmy possessed an endless variety of other talents and skills. He could spin a yarn of stories and experiences that stood toe-to-toe with any comic. He lived life to its fullest and no regrets were spoken.
He was generous with his time and talents. He enthusiastically shared/taught his skills with his relatives, neighbors and friends. He was a mentor to all and enriched everyone’s lives through unforgettable experiences and life skills.
Jimmy will reside among the family who raised him, his mother, Rafella Culp; grandmother, Roselia Sanchez; aunt, Tillie Sanchez; and grandfather, Jose Ramon Sanchez. He is beloved by all his cousins and friends. Vaya con Dios, Jimmy.
Our special thanks and appreciation are extended to Suzette Lindermuth and her staff of caregivers at Center for Ageless Living in Tomé that provided wonderful, loving care to Jimmy this past year.
A graveside service for Jimmy was held Thursday, May 30, at the Our Lady of Belen Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
Arrangements were handled by the caring professionals at the Noblin Funeral Service Belen Chapel, where an online guest register is available at noblin.com.
