1957-2023
Kevin Charles Daggett, age 66, a resident of Los Lunas, formerly of Albuquerque and Espanola, passed away unexpectedly on July 27, 2023.
A private celebration of life will be celebrated on July 26, 2024.
Kevin was born in Venezuela, South America, and lived there for a few years of his life. His father was a flight pilot in the military. His family later moved to Espanola.
He attended McCurdy High School and graduated in 1975. He received a football scholarship and attended Eastern New Mexico University. He later became a licensed surveyor.
Kevin received his geology degree at Mesa State College in 1985. He then attended New Mexico State University where he received an MS degree in civil engineering in 1992.
He was employed with DR Horton as a land development manager. He then worked for AMAFCA and the city of Albuquerque as a water quality engineer.
Kevin was a man of many talents. He played guitar for 30 years, made jewelry, painted, loved gourmet cooking, photography, was an excellent skier and loved to travel. His favorite place to travel to was Ouray, Colo. He always called it “God’s country.”
He is preceded in death by his parents, Wynn and Dolores Daggett.
He is survived by his sister, Kathy Brock; his son, Colton Daggett, and wife, Danielle; his partner of 16 years, Marilyn Sanchez, and her large family.
Marilyn and Kevin went on many memorable trips that will never be forgotten. He leaves a legacy of kindness, compassion, and will be missed by his family and friends.
