It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Kylee Faith Silva, also known as Ky/Toko at the young age of 17 on June 4, 2024.

Kylee, of Albuquerque and formerly of Belen, was born on Aug. 22, 2006, at Mile Marker 215 on the side of the road, delivered by her father, auntie, Kim, and grandma.

She was a bright light and had so much love to give to her family and friends. Being loved by Kylee was like having the most loyal person in your corner. Kylee was known as the fashionista of the family, with her long nails and fluffy eyelashes. Despite losing Kylee too soon she has touched the hearts of everyone she met with her canniness.

Kylee recently graduated from eCademy High School and planned to attend UNM in the fall. Throughout her young career, she was active in sports, enjoying swimming, gymnastics, basketball, volleyball and cheerleading. She may be gone from our sight, but she will never be forgotten, for her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

Kylee is preceded in death by, papa, William Wood; nana, Bonnie Buttram; papa, Phil Wood; as well as her best friend, Rylee Lawson.

She is survived by her parents, Quarai and Jennifer Silva; big sister, Shaylee Silva; grandparents, Greg and Darlene Barr, Kelly Roth, Nick Silva and Alice Wood; great-grandfather, Bobby Buttram; cousins, Baylee Nunn, Mckenzie Wood and Damien Wood; and many other wonderful aunts, uncles and cousins.

Rest in peace, sweet Kylee, you will forever be mom and dad’s little firecracker. We will always cherish the memories you blessed us with.

A visitation will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, June 13, at Citizen Church, 10500 Copper Ave., NE, Ste. D, Albuquerque. The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m.
