1939-2024

Clifford Larry Edwards, of Belen, passed away peacefully on April 30, 2024, at the age of 84.

He was born in Atlanta, Ga., on June 9, 1939.

Larry is survived by his wife of nearly 59 years, Sandy; his daughters and sons-in-law, Terri and Randy Chambers and Traci and Jeff Remington; and his grandchildren, Daniel, Megan and her husband, Ben, Dylan, Debbie and Luke. He is also survived by his brother, Al Batts, of Georgia; and several nieces and nephews and their families.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and a sister, various extended family members, and his longtime best friend “Michael T.”

Larry was one of a kind. He was a great man and he lived a life full of love. He made an impact on many people in his 84 years, and he was fiercely loved by his family.

Even though he wouldn’t like it, our hearts are a little bit broken by his passing. He will be dearly missed.

A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m., Friday May 17, at French Wyoming Chapel, 7121 Wyoming Blvd., Albuquerque.
