1933-2024

Lillian Louise Kerns, age 90, a resident of Los Lunas since 1977, passed away on May 10, 2024, just short of her 91st birthday.

Lillian lived her life in service to Jesus Christ, her family and to others. She was born in San Antonio, Texas, graduated high school in Sherwood, Ore., and lived in Pasadena, Calif., where she meet and married Fred Kerns in 1957.

Lillian was a homemaker, pastor’s wife and bookkeeper. Her greatest accomplishment was her sacrificial service to her husband, family and church. The encouragement she gave to others will be deeply missed!

She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Edna Meissner; husband, Fred; son, Timothy; granddaughter, Moriah; and brother, Bud Meissner.

She is survived by her sons, Fred, Jack, Steve (and wife, Dana) and Mark; granddaughter, Mirisa; sister, Doris; and brother, Art.

A celebration of life service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, May 25, at Christian Fellowship Church, 628 Los Lentes Road NE, Los Lunas.

In lieu of cut flowers, the family requests that perennial flowers be sent, allowing her memory to be enjoyed for years to come.
