Livy Montano, age 84, of Los Lunas, passed away peacefully on Nov. 1, 2024. Livy passed surrounded by his wife and family.
Livy was preceded in death by his parents, Arturo and Lola Montano; his brother, Paul Montano; and his son, Richard Montano.
Livy is survived by his wife, Benita; his brother, Nick Montano; his sisters, Veronica Chavez, Rosemary Marquez and Alice Gabaldon. He is also survived by his son, Theodore Montano and his wife, Polly, his daughters, Adelle Montano, Sandra Cleveland and her spouse, Matthew Cleveland, and his daughter, Rosanne Montano-Gallegos and her spouse, Thomas Gallegos. Livy is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Services for Livy will take place on Friday, Nov. 15, at Noblin Funeral Service Belen Chapel, 418 W. Reinken Ave., Belen. A visitation will be held at 11 a.m., followed by a prayer service at 11:30 a.m.
A reception and lunch will follow the service a 2 p.m. at Sam’s Place Event Center, 544 Main St., Los Lunas.
